General Finishes also makes Enduro products which have earned quite a good reputation over the years. That's why when we wanted to make the switch to water based we gave them a try. We were very pleased to find that not only were they easy to use as well as quite forgiving. They also leave a deep, rich authentic color that you won't find in the water based stains carried in the big stores. The colors come in a semi-gelatinous form (which is easily thinned) for wipe on or "industrial" which is ready to spray right from the can. The colors can be combined to create custom shades without problem.
I am also very impressed with the ease that their clear coats go on. If you're looking to paint a project, the acrylic colors can not be beat. Custom colors can be mixed, to match those of the bigger paint brands. And there is a full line of "milk" paint , should your project need a more traditional look.

The TV unit to the right is a lightly distressed black acrylic. The sliding doors are backed with fabric as to allow the use of remote controls without having to look at the components.
